Giveaway / Contest Rules

Unless a specific giveaway states otherwise, HabsInfinity contests are open to legal residents of Ontario and Quebec, Canada. No purchase is necessary. The age of majority in both provinces is 18. Entrants under 18 may participate only with parent or legal-guardian permission; if selected, the prize must be claimed and accepted by that parent or guardian. A specific giveaway may be designated 18+ only.

You must follow @habsinfinity on Instagram and complete any additional entry steps stated in the giveaway post. You must still be following @habsinfinity when the winner is verified. Late, incomplete, or otherwise ineligible entries will not count.

Cheating, manipulation, exploitation, fraud, or abuse may result in immediate disqualification. This includes bots, scripts, automation, fake or duplicate accounts, duplicate or manipulated sessions, tampering with scoring or entries, exploiting bugs or vulnerabilities, false information, or any attempt to obtain an unfair advantage. If HabsInfinity reasonably determines that an entrant cheated or exploited a contest, HabsInfinity may refuse or revoke the win and select another eligible winner, subject to applicable law.

A potential winner must provide the HabsInfinity-generated Session ID or entry ID associated with the winning entry. An Instagram username alone is not sufficient. The ID must match HabsInfinity’s records. If it cannot be verified, the prize may be forfeited and another winner selected. HabsInfinity will never ask for an Instagram password, login cookie, or Instagram account session token.

Each giveaway post will state the entry period and closing time, eligible region, number and approximate value of the prize(s), winner-selection method, and any other known information that materially affects the chances of winning. For a random draw, the odds depend on the number of eligible entries received unless otherwise stated.

The winner-selection method will be stated in the giveaway post. A result may be determined randomly, by skill, or through an automated contest mechanic. In some contests, HabsInfinity may not receive the identity of the winning participant and will only be able to verify a winner after that person submits a claim. For a chance-based contest where required, a potential winner must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question without assistance before being confirmed. A participant is not a confirmed winner until all eligibility and verification requirements are satisfied.

The winning participant must contact HabsInfinity and submit a prize claim within 24 hours after the giveaway closing date and time stated in the giveaway post. HabsInfinity may have no way of knowing who won until a claim is submitted and therefore has no obligation to search for, identify, notify, or contact the winner. A valid claim must include the matching HabsInfinity-generated Session ID or entry ID and any other verification requested. An Instagram username alone is not sufficient. If no valid winning claim is received within the 24-hour claim period, the original win is forfeited and the prize may be awarded to the next eligible participant who reaches out with a valid winning claim under the contest mechanics. Late, incomplete, unverifiable, or ineligible claims may be refused.

Prizes are non-transferable and have no cash alternative unless HabsInfinity says otherwise. If an advertised prize becomes unavailable, HabsInfinity may substitute one of equal or greater approximate value. HabsInfinity may suspend, cancel, modify, or reschedule a contest if fraud, technical failure, platform outage, security issues, or circumstances outside its reasonable control materially affect the contest, and may remove invalid entries to preserve a fair result, subject to law.

HabsInfinity may use the winner’s Instagram username or public-facing account name to announce the result. Personal information collected for entry, verification, or prize delivery will be handled under the HabsInfinity Privacy & Terms page and applicable law.

Each entrant releases Instagram from responsibility in connection with the promotion to the maximum extent permitted by law. Unless expressly stated otherwise, HabsInfinity contests are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram. Void where prohibited.
